Misfit-UK (alias Rudygirl) started DJing about 15 years ago in England. But travelling extensively brought her closer to other kinds of music and rhythms. Classically trained pianist for six years from the London College of Music and Drama and travelling across England doing recitals and getting diplomas as well as experience even at the age of seven/ eight years old, gave her a taste of performing music in front of an audience.
During the travelling time dancing was a substitute for playing music until getting settled again in Holland ten years ago and being able to build her own studio and place to make & play music. Since then she has been busy playing at parties, has been resident in Club Department, playing hard Techno, Progressive, Drum & Bass, Dark Techno and Scranz.
Also played outside and set up & organise podiums in parties in Amsterdam, Den Helder for the Day of the Music (Dag Van De Muziek) playing Drum & Bass and Dark Techno. Rudy has played quiet a few different places, bars, cafes, clubs and plays with Vinyl, CDs, MP3s as well as USB sticks- whatever equipment is available.
